Mission Statement
Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and bring
salvation, healing, deliverance, and freedom found in Him.
(Luke 4:18)
Salvation
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Death is the consequence for that sin. Jesus Christ was our substitute when He gave His life for us on the cross. We preach the good news, letting others know that they can have eternal life, simply by confessing Him as their Lord and Savior and believing that God has raised Him from the dead. It is a free gift received by faith. All our sins are forgiven by confessing them to God, who is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(Romans 3:23; 6:23; 10:9,14; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 John 1:9)
Healing
Jesus Christ provided healing for us by the stripes on His back. He set the example of healing others during His earthly ministry and assured us that we would do even greater works. In obedience to the Word of God, we anoint others with oil and lay our hands on them in prayer, believing they shall receive healing.
(1 Peter 2:24; Luke 6:19; John 14:12; James 5:14-15)
Deliverance
We believe in divine deliverance for those who are plagued with demonically influenced bondage. These can manifest in a number of ways, including addictions to such things as alcohol, drugs, pornography and even food. Other areas of bondage include depression, suicidal thoughts, self-loathing, violence, and extreme anger. Jesus set forth the example of casting out demons and gave authority to the believers to do the same.
(Mark 1:34; Matthew 10:8; Mark 6:13; Acts 16:16-18)
Freedom
We are offered freedom by Jesus in several areas. First, we are set free from our slavery to sin as we become slaves of righteousness. We are also to be set free from religious legalism and man made doctrines. Finally, we are to be set free from the things in our past as we press forward to that which lies ahead.
(John 8:36; Romans 6:16-22; Galatians 5:13; Philippians 3:12-14)
