Beliefs

The Bible

All scripture is inspired by God and is infallible. It is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

(2 Timothy 3:16-17)

God

There is only one true and eternal God, who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

(1 John 5:7; John 1:1, 14)

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is today at the right hand of Father.

(Luke 1:26-35; John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:9; Colossians 3:1)

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is present with us today, convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. He brings comfort and counsel to the believers. He bestows upon the believers various gifts, which are still in operation today. He empowers the believers to live a holy life.

(John 16:8; 1 Corinthians 12:7-11; Galatians 5:22-25)

Salvation

Salvation is a free gift from God given to those who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and believe that He has been risen from the dead. All sins are forgiven for those who repent of their sins. In doing so, one is born again and brought into the family of God for eternity.

(Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9; 1 John 1:9; John 3:3,16)

The Church

The church is comprised of all believers with Christ as the head. As such, the members of the church fulfill various roles according to their God-given abilities. The believers are to regularly meet to encourage one another in their walk with Jesus Christ.

(Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 4:11-12; Romans 12:4-8; Hebrews 10:24-25)

Return of Jesus

Jesus Christ will one day return to set up His kingdom on earth. This will be a literal and physical return. During this time, the believers will receive their eternal reward and the unbelievers will be judged according to their deeds.

(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 2 Corinthians 5:10-11; Colossians 3:24-25)
